Coconut Shrimp
Ingredients:
1/2 kg of large shrimp, peeled, cleaned and split in half.
3 egg whites
2 tablespoons flour.
1/2 teaspoon pepper and salt
1/2 kilogram of striped coconut
1 liter of sunflower oil
Instructions:
1. Beat the egg whites together with the flour, salt and pepper
2. Add the shrimp to the mixture, making sure the shrimp are covered in the mixture very well.
3. Heat the oil.
4. Place the grated coconut in a large plate so that it extends throughout the plate.
5. Coat each of the shrimp with the coconut.
6. Fry in the oil that should be very hot.
7. Remove from the oil when they turn golden.
8. Accompany with white rice and mango sauce.
Mango Sauce
300 grams of mango pulp
Pinch of cinnamon
Chile chipotle at taste
Blend all ingredients and boil
